Supermarket Simulator – How to Cope with Large Amount of Stock?
Tips to Cope with Large Amount of Stock
In my experience, trying to restock during the day gets too chaotic after store upgrades. I’ve found a routine that works for me: I fully restock everything in the morning before opening. I always keep an extra box of each product, alternating between storage room and sidewalk daily.
Here’s my method: If my storage is full today, I restock from there, leaving one extra box. The surplus goes on the sidewalk. The next day, I restock from the sidewalk pile and transfer extras back to storage.
While this approach is efficient, it still takes time. I allocate a generous section for each product, typically 2 products per shelf or fridge to prevent stockouts. It may not be space-efficient, but I’ll reassess once I see how effective restockers are.
Certain products like chicken demand a lot of space. With only 8 per freezer, maintaining stock levels can be challenging. I monitor these items throughout the day and restock as needed to avoid shortages.
